Bundle Dying Workshop

One of the best ways to practice sustainability in your closet is to revisit what you already have! Learn how to use plant dyes to give new life to old favorites through the art of bundle dyeing. We will utilize a variety of dye material including dried & fresh flowers, plant extracts, and kitchen waste to create a range of natural color! We will also explore hapa zome, a plant hammering technique to create a one of a kind print on your choice of a paper postcard or fabric patch. 

Working with natural dyes is a practice in appreciating the slow process and letting go of expectations of a certain result- many plants yield surprising colors. There are many lessons to be learned in the dye pot! This class is suitable for all skill levels and will be perfect for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with the natural world.
